How We Treat

Post Surgery Rehab

We provide a one-to-one tailored service to help you get back to fitness after having surgical procedures.

The benefits of one-to-one physiotherapy following surgery are that we can carefully monitor your progress, adjust your treatment and exercise program specifically to you, to make your rehabilitation as seamless as possible.  Our aim is to reduce swelling, help with scar tissue, and achieve the best range of motion and a return to strength without pain.

We use proven techniques, and follow protocols developed both in the UK and in the USA, with the aim of getting you stronger and fitter more quickly than any other program.  We can provide help whether you had your operation on the NHS or privately, and provide additional help if you are on other programs such as NHS physiotherapy and classes.

We provide rehabiliation for many types of surgical intervention, including the following:

- ACL reconstruction
- Total knee replacement
- Hip replacement
- Total shoulder replacement
- Meniscectomy
- Ankle ligament reconstructions
- Hallux valgus correction
- Laminectomy
- Discectomy
- Slap lesion repair of the shoulder
- Bankart repair of the shoulder
- Tendon transfer
- Arthrodesis

If the procedure you have had isn't listed above, and if you are in any doubt as to whether we can help, please contact us, our friendly physiotherapists will be happy to answer your queries.
